As it has always been, you can download the file, unzip it, and move it to the Maps folder, as explained here. While playing Timberborn, players can access console commands by pressing Shift+Alt+Z. To play on a custom map, you don't need to use the mod manager. 4. ![]() What is officially supported is the map editor and the ability to play on custom maps made by other players. To use the mods, you need to rely on community-made tools which, while great, are not under our control. As with most colony sims, you'll have to build up your town, populate it with beavers, and put them to work erecting. Unfortunately, we haven't left them a whole lot to work with. ![]() Mankind is long gone and it's the beaver's turn to reign supreme. However, Mod.io is not integrated within the game, at least not now. Timberborn is a new survival colony sim from Mechanistry that got its start on Steam Early Access. We hope it will become a handy platform for all Timberborn players who can’t get enough of post-apocalyptic beavers.The platform was indeed launched by us to give the community a centralized and easy-to-use repository (and let us run contests etc.). ![]() For now, we are not integrating this tool with the game but as you’re about to see, it’s straightforward to use.
